Happy Pride Month, everyone! First off, it’s been so long. I hope you all are doing well and eating well. To be honest, I completely forgot about Pride Month until the actual day of June 1st. As a means of celebrating it, I decided to re-watch an anime that I watched a while ago, but had completely forgotten how it went. I’m honestly glad that I decided to do so.
I had entirely forgotten how adorable the animation is and how the characters’ relationships are. At the moment of writing this, I’m watching the first episode. It’s actually a weird feeling. You can’t remember everything that happens, but you can place the overall premise and how it made you feel when you first watched it. I watched it for the first time when I moved from Puerto Rico to the mainland US, when new episodes were still coming out.
As for the first episode of the anime, you get to see how the two meet, from both of their perspectives. Each second brings so much warmth you can’t help but smile. You also can’t help but root for Sasaki because of how hard he falls for Miyano from the very beginning. The comedic timing in the first episode, as well as the transitions, are very well timed. Overall, the first episode makes you wanna watch more.
