Pride Month: Blush Blush- Game Review

Blush Blush is a clicker dating sim which released in April of this year by Sad Panda Studios. You “accidentally” spread a curse on 12 people that caused them to turn into animals and the only way you can break it is by loving them and they love you in return.

When I first saw this game on steam, I immediately fell in love with it because of the trailer—especially because the person voice acting as Volks says these rather sarcastic lines (and I am a sucker for sarcastic humor). The first week was fun yet slow. After a while (for me it was about a month or so) it started to get really boring, but whenever a new character comes into the picture, that spark of excitement ignites once more. The reason why this is for Pride Month is because you can choose which gender your character is at any given moment in time and the people you end up with are really diverse. Not all of the characters are released though so you have to continue playing and restarting your game (it’s also a thing that you can do in the game to make the progress go faster) in the meantime. There is going to be a female character out of the twelve from what I saw in the cast listing for the voice actors, but I think we’re not going to see her for a while since hers is near the last.

That being said, I give Blush Blush 2.5 paws out of 5 (which rounds up to 3 paws) 🐾🐾🐾. I don’t recommend it though if you don’t have patience and want a dating sim with actual story since it’s really just you clicking on everything and waiting for each level up to occur. The things that the characters say to you are both cute and hilarious. Though after a while since you’re taking your time and waiting for a certain level up to occur, it seems really repetitive and you stop actually reading them after a while. Anyways, that’s it for today. Until next time, keep your paws and bowls of ramen up, everyone! Nya! 🐾
