The Leader (or Ling Feng Zhe) was released earlier this week (at least from where I saw it). This is a historical Chinese anime based on the life of famous German philosopher- Karl Marx. So far it has drama and romance along with a taste of how life was like back in the day.
The animation itself is rather interesting because it uses both 2-D and 3-D,however, it does get a bit tiring after a while. This is because they keep on switching after every 5 seconds or so. That being said, the art style and graphics are very well made.
It immediately starts off with Karl Marx’s funeral so it captures your attention from the get-go. You also get a sense of inspiration and motivation to keep trying because of how cheery and optimistic Karl Marx seems to be in the first episode. I admit even I felt motivated to get and do something productive after watching it.
There is only one episode of the anime so I might be giving a full review of the anime when it complete. So far, I’m going to give this 3.5 paws out of 5 (rounding up to 4) because of the animation and how interesting it seems 🐾🐾🐾🐾. This is all that I’m going to say about the anime for now.
