Happy Pride Month!

Hey guys,

I decided to post (almost) everything gay during this month in honor of Pride Month. Queer representation in media has evolved over the past decades and I want to take the time to write about it during this month. I’m going to try and make a balance with the posts since I do tend to post more for certain categories (such as manga and anime) and less for others (drama and music.)

Pride Month means a lot to me along with many of my loved ones. Those of you who know me in real life know this, but I’ll say it for those who only know me from the blog: I am a asexual/bi-romantic person. Growing up, anime, manga and music helped me a lot with feeling comfortable with who I am—especially when it came to coming out. I really looked up to people like Gackt who didn’t care what others thought about them and just let love take the wheel and live their lives.

My biggest goal in doing this is to hopefully reach out to someone who’s going through a tough time with who they are and give them the resources—or at least some inspiration/ motivation to be themselves. I also want to say that if you’re having trouble coming out or if you need someone to talk to, feel free to message me. I’m a good listener (or in this case reader) and I’ll try my best to at least give advice (if that’s what you need.) I hope you all enjoy the posts for this month.
