Review of 2022- Things I was able to accomplish

Another year has gone by. I know this might be repeated over and over again, but I am shocked with how fast this year actually went. It feels like only yesterday that 2022 started and now we’re already at the end of the year. Regardless, we have all been through so much within the span of this one year. I certainly have had quite a few changes that went on in my life and with that, I also have a few things that I want to be able to accomplish within the upcoming year (both professionally and personally). Before I get into my goals for this upcoming year, I wanted to do an overall review of 2022 and the major things I was able to accomplish within this year. 

1. Move to mainland U.S. 

This was something that I had been thinking of doing for years on end, but had been putting off for a while due to many reasons. I moved to the U.S. mainland in January of 2022 and have been happy and proud of my decision ever since. Don’t get me wrong, I was tired for the first week or month after relocating because I had to work on moving and everything right after having finished my master’s degree. So I was exhausted to say the least when we finally completed the process. There were many ups and downs, but I don’t regret it one bit. 

2. Becoming Affiliate on Twitch

If I’m not mistaken, this happened in August or near the beginning of September. I only remember that I made the goal of trying to become affiliate before my birthday which is in the middle of September. I have been streaming for over a year now… almost two if I’m not mistaken—both on and off Twitch. I have been able to learn so much about what it means to create content and enjoying it overall. I was able to meet so many different people along the way and I still plan on growing both as a streamer and as an overall content creator. Becoming affiliate was so huge for me—not because of monetary reasons, but because it meant that there were people out there who were willing to watch and enjoy hours upon hours of content, whether it be just me fangirling over a character or just doing study with me streams (which I’m currently doing the moment I’m writing this blog post). 

3. Reach one year of being a PNG Tuber

Alongside being an affiliate on Twitch, I also managed to go one year being a PNGTuber. I didn’t realize that it’s been over a year until I checked recently (which was in October). My PNGTuber father is AidanArt and I am forever grateful for the amazing model that he gave me over a year ago. It is not only cute but I feel like it certainly captured my overall personality both as a person and as a content creator. Now, I did have to use emotes from another artist (Viki) in order for you guys to be able to see the actual expressions, but overall, I am glad that you guys like the model as much as I do. 

4. Post more on YouTube

Throughout this year, I have been posting a lot more videos on my YouTube channel than I have within the decade that I created the account (to be fair, it had been dead for a while). For the most part, I have created a lot of covers and posted many VODs of the streams that I did on Twitch. I am still learning how to edit videos. Hopefully, I’ll soon start editing videos without having to use Canva (goal perhaps?). I was able to get over 100 subscribers on YouTube as well which was a major accomplishment to be honest. I was not expecting so many people to  subscribe to my channel all of a sudden. Nonetheless I appreciate every single one of you guys. I am still trying to figure out what kind of video styles I want there to be on my channel for the long term but it’s a nice journey so far. Figuring things out I mean. 

There are many other things that I was able to accomplish throughout the year, but these are some of the major ones that I was able to think of. I am grateful for you guys. I hope to see you all within the next year! Until next time, keep your paws and bowls of ramen up, everyone! Nya! 🐾
