I had mentioned this previously in my Pride Month: Favorites of 2020. At the time that I write this, I’m on episode 12 out of 50. I really love seeing how their relationship grows as the show progresses. Reese actually has told me that it’s better to read the novel (which you can find the translated version of online) if you want to see the full extent of their relationship. The special effects are absolutely amazing and the acting here was done beautifully (of course, it was done with talented actors). Everything about this drama so far is absolutely captivating.

There are times where I did feel a bit lost since they do a lot of changes in perspective (that is normal however, when it comes to dramas). Also, the dynamic of the serious vs the laid-back couple is kind of cliché (that isn’t really a bad thing though). There are times where I even find Wei Wuxian annoying, but that’s probably because he’s really laid-back—he does, however, add a bit of humor to the drama which keeps it from being too serious and bland. Again, I’m still watching this series so my initial opinion might be different than my final one.

With that being said, I give The Untamed the initial rating of 4 paws out of five 🐾🐾🐾🐾. I think it’s intriguing overall and I can’t wait to see what happens next. Thank you for reading this. Until next time, keep your paws and bowls of ramen up, everyone! Nya! 🐾
