Pride Month: My most watched yaoi anime?
Ever since I found out about yaoi, I would take hours on looking for yaoi anime. I prefer to read yaoi manga than watch the anime because I can finish it faster and not wait for the next episode to release after a long while. That doesn’t mean I don’t watch yaoi anime as often.… Continue reading Pride Month: My most watched yaoi anime?
Happy Pride Month!
Hey guys, I decided to post (almost) everything gay during this month in honor of Pride Month. Queer representation in media has evolved over the past decades and I want to take the time to write about it during this month. I’m going to try and make a balance with the posts since I do… Continue reading Happy Pride Month!
Worst Mothers (Chinese Drama VS Japanese Anime)
With a few hours left of Mother’s day, I decided to make a comparison of two of the worst mothers in both the drama world and the anime world. My question for you is: who is the worst mother in anime or in an asian drama in your opinion?
The Leader -Anime Final Review
The Leader was released on January 28, 2019 and aired its last episode on March 4, 2019- having a total of 7 episodes. This is a biographical anime on the German philosopher Karl Marx. I wrote a first impression on the anime a couple of months ago, so I’m excited to give a final review on this. Now, please know that I’m going to try really hard not to get political -despite the anime having politics as one of the more prominent themes. This is only a review and I only wish to keep it that way.
Twittering Birds Never Fly-Manga Review
Saezuru Tori Wa Habatakanai (Twittering Birds Never Fly) is a tragic yaoi manga released on March 31, 2008, and it is currently ongoing. The Leader of the Yakuza- Yashiro- knows only love for his rather close friend; however it was only one-sided. That was until his new bodyguard- Doumeki- comes into the picture. Doumeki wishes… Continue reading Twittering Birds Never Fly-Manga Review
Meiji Tokyo Renka -Final Review-
Last month, I made a small review of Meiji Tokyo Renka when it was about 5-6 episodes in. It was more of an overview/ “first impressions” (if you want to call it that) since it was still ongoing when I wrote that. Now that it’s finally completed, I can give a full on review of… Continue reading Meiji Tokyo Renka -Final Review-
Drama/ Live Action Versions of Anime/ Manga
Everyone has seen maybe a handful of live action/drama versions of an anime or manga- usually it’s both though; sometimes the anime doesn’t get that much credit than the manga and drama or vice-versa. There are quite a few dramas/ live action versions of dramas and anime in korean, japanese and chinese. Some of them… Continue reading Drama/ Live Action Versions of Anime/ Manga
The Leader (First Impression)
The Leader (or Ling Feng Zhe) was released earlier this week (at least from where I saw it). This is a historical Chinese anime based on the life of famous German philosopher- Karl Marx. So far it has drama and romance along with a taste of how life was like back in the day. The… Continue reading The Leader (First Impression)
Meiji Tokyo Renka (Review…ish?)
Meiji Tokyo Renka was released earlier this year (January 9) as I am writing this (in case if you are reading this perhaps a year or two in the future). At the moment, it is ongoing with only 5-6 episodes in the subs and 4-5 episodes in English dub. Based on the visual novel of… Continue reading Meiji Tokyo Renka (Review…ish?)
